Well after a long 3 hours of building my pc I finally got it running but my monitor won't show anything. The fans turn on on the PC the disk tray goes vrrrmmmm but the monitor just stays on a black screen for five seconds then says "entering sleep mode." Now I'm wondering if th monitors bad, I messed up somewhere in the PC maybe bent the cpu or if it's the video card, which lights up and it's fans spin.

Edit: specs are http://pcpartpicker.com/user/IfIDieIWasAFK/saved/2ODy

The video card may be dead even if the fans spin.

Is your monitor cable plugged into your gpu and not your motherboard?

I'm just going to say this before it's asked, I've tried putting my video card into the other slots for it, I've messed with my ram and checked if my cpu had any bends or if it was incorrectly aligned so far nothing has worked.
