Sometimes when the temps go high the noise it makes really annoys me. If you were to change the fan what would you replace it with? can you even buy cpu fans separately with the cooler?

My 212+ is whisper quiet.

And if you think it's the fan making the noise, you can replace the fan with any 120mm fan.

Make sure that you have the fan properly seated, and that nothing, like a wire, is rubbing against the fan. If the fan's noise is truly being invasive, then the bearings may be going bad, or the alignment is off in such a way that it causes a bad vibration at higher RPM.

Like ThatVietGuy said, you can replace the fans on your cooling solution with any standard-sized 120mm fan out there. Cooler Master probably has some cheap replacements, if you look for them. Noctua, on Amazon, has their NF-F12 on sale for $18.50 which is a really good price for that fan. Enermax T.B. Silence or Cluster Advance fans may be a good alternative.

That I can see on Newegg, they have the Silent Series R2, which is a 3-pin fan that is geared towards being quiet. (It's max RPM is also 1200.) It would work, but the performance would be less, unless you purchased two of them. At that point, I'd recommend two Arctic Cooling F12 PWM fans. They'd be cheaper, work better, and on top of being PWM, they can be daisy-chained to work off from the same fan header so you don't need to worry about buying any type of splitter.
