I have Ezio's Trilogy for the PS3. I have a relatively new retail unit, the slim PS3 that came out last year with ACIII. But so far I am not seeing performance that I remember from the ACII series of games when I played them last with my first-gen PS3.
Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood both have big framerate dips whenever I am running around the game world, load times are long, and audio tends to skip or glitch in cutscenes. Also AC Brotherhood frequently freezes for a second or two (one time for several seconds) as I wander Rome. It's not a true freeze as the things like tree sway still continues. The problem is worst on first starting the game and during saving. Both of these are the digital versions installed off the Ezio's Trilogy disc.
I haven't gotten to Revelations yet, so it might be that AC doesn't do so well when loading off the HD and frequently saving. Has anyone else had similar issues with AC Ezio's Trilogy? My PS3 plays Bioshock Infitinite, Bioshock and Bioshock 2 just fine. Uncharted 3 also played and looked wonderful (except for some long load times).
