Hey guys
I am working on new rig and excited as hell. I have been pocking around with parts for it.
The rig I am upgrading from was based on P6T6-WS mobo, I7-920 (D stepping, was originally planning to OC the baby, didnt end up doing it) and GTX 285 x2, with a mere 6 gigs of ram.
The rig I am looking to upgrade to is this:

I know I kinda overdid it with a 1200w PSU, but I am seriously considering r9 290x instead of the GTX780. So I think reducing the PSU to a 1000w one should be fine and save me some money as well. It falls right into my budget and with a lesser PSU it will do great, plus I can play around with the case as well.
I have not been keeping track of technology for the past 3-4 years....so I may be missing some things when it comes to bottle-necking.
The SSD, I am planning to use for an OS and other software, while other hard drives are for storage and gaming. What would you shave off/change or suggest for this build??
