Hi everyone, I'm struggling to find the performance I was hoping for from my pc. Below are the components

CPU: Intel core i7 2600 3.4ghz LGA1155
Mobo: Asus P8P67 Pro B3 Revision
Ram: Corsair 8gb Vengence Ram 1600
GPU: crossfired HIS ATI AMD 6870 1gb Reference
Power: Antec 650w Truepower
Hdd: Samsung 840 pro SSD, WD blue 1tb

I have installed Rome Total war 2 on my PC and it looks terrible, Crysis 3 runs very average, BF4 runs really average.

Am I bottle necking? Is my crossfire working? I don't understand, I thought it would be a beast, but it's proving otherwise.

I considered a GTX770 4gb upgrade, but I don't think that will fix it. I'm only running 1 x 1080p monitor

Should I overclock the CPU?

you have video cards with 1gb vram. you have a vram limitation as all the games mentioned will use much more than 1gb. this means its spilling into and swapping between vram on yout gpu and system ram, causing stuttering and low fps. as if crossfire didnt have enough stuttering even when you have enough vram. go get that 4gb 770 and you'll be set.
