Hey! I've been browsing your site for the most info I can get on graphics cards...

I've been trying to finalise the purchase of my first graphics card, and due to the large number of models and sellers, I, being a noob for the GPU world, am a bit lost...

My current PC config is:
Mobo: Digilite H61-MX EL
CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 @ 3.1GHz
Memory: 6GB (4GB + 2GB) DDR3
HDD; 500GB ATA
Screen: 1366x768

Budget: INR 3.5k - 3.8k

What I want to know is whether Asus GeForce GT610/ GT620 1/2GB will be enough to play COD:MW3, BF 1,2,3, Assassin's Creed 1,2,3,4. All on med settings is alright.

Please help

Oops sorry read your budget wrong, thought it said 3.5k-8k :(

This GT 630 sits at 3.9k and would be worth the extra 100 INR over those other two cards

I picked up a Geforce GTX 660ti for about $250 and it runs BF4 Ultra settings 60 FPS solid (dips every once in a while), so this card would run ac and cod just fine. I even own a couple COD games myself (black ops 2 - MW2) and its gets a good 60-100 fps on maxed out. I have a i5 2320k, 8gb of ram so Its not really a beast...

Whats your budget? Im willing to help a fellow gamer-to-be out, But a price range would be nice here.

3.5k-3.8k INR which is about $60 USD

The GT 630 would be your best choice with that budget, the 660 Ti would go over by more than 4 times LOL, plus at the same price the 760 is the superior choice over the 660 Ti

I agree a 630 or higher would be a much better choice, those cards are very under powered, although your resolution is not very high you are missing out.

Well with a budget that small that takes alot of good cards out of the question. . .Just poke around on new egg and research some cards and you might find a good deal. You could always wait until black friday and get a real good card in your budget range.

Yes, actually I WAS considering that one, but is Forsa a good brand?
I mean, I've heard that the above model is actually an overclocked gt440.
I don't expect the BEST manufacturer, but is FORSA, at least RELIABLE?
I really don't know.

Haven't heard of them but it really would be your best bet, looks like a standard low profile card so I wouldn't worry about it

And mate, he lives in India so all the shipping and annoying stuff you'd have to go through newegg wouldn't be worth the effort
