new SSD does not show up in my computer

installed a new SSD today and it doesnt show up and in my computer to save files to. Shows up in device manager and in the mushkin chronos firmware updater. What do?

Go into Windows Disk Management. Initialize the SSD, Quick format it, and assign it a drive letter.
It will then be ready to use.
