Hi Everyone!

I want to update my pc, it's 3 years old here are my specs....

Proc - iCore3 540 @ 3.07GHz-3.1
Ram - 4GB ddr3
MOBO - emaxx EMX - IH55M-iCafe
Video - Nvidia GeForce 9500GT
Case - i dunno generic case xD
CPU cooler - GAMMAXX 200
OS - windows 7 ultimate 64-bit
sorry if i missed some, anyway what i want to do is simply update my rig so i can atleast play current MMOs with good Framerates. I don't need super high end PC since i'm more a console gamer anyway. Im planning to up my Graphics card to GTX670 but im wondering if that will be enough or do i also need to upgrade my processor.

pls help me because i've been talking to different people and so far their giving different advice=/

BTW my budget at most is $500 or no more than 600 =

If you upgrade to the GTX670 and maybe later on more memory another 4gb or 8gb then that should be fine to run the games, maybe not on ultra setting or so but it will run, i dont think you need to upgrade your prossor and so just yet especially if you dont have the budget.

What power supply are you running cause the GTX670 uses +- 120Watts more than the 9500GT?

it's just a stock powersupply..any suggestions for good ones?
and when you say "more memory" do you mean the ram?

Sorry my computer has been broken, could not reply, yes when I say memory I mean ram, another 4gb or 8gb should be fine.
Well not sure what make name is good, but according to internet the 670 needs about 170watts alone, so I suggest nothing less than a 600 watt power supply.

you need a decent upgrade to keep your pc floating this would jump your pc gaming for a good many years especially on rpgs also with mantle support coming out for amds gcn it be better to go with them incase mantle becomes a big thing.

this is a full upgrade

youd be using your harddrive and dvd drive again and existing ram

this would smoke your old build and future proofs you for broadwell.

note if you already have a os disc all you have to do is reinstall or fresh install your old os if you do not then you will need a new os hence why i added this
