Hi there, I;m not to knowledgeable about computers and such so I made an acc. on here to see if you guys can give me some direction on this.

Will it be worth it for me pick up the 144hz Asus VG248qe monitor while running a GTX 570?

Is the card strong enough?
Ps: I Mainly played Call of Duty: Ghosts and some World of Warcraft

You can definitely take advantage of the 144hz for sure. That wont make or break your gaming experience. However, you won't be able to play on high settings, well you can but I don't think you will enjoy it too much. You should be okay with the default settings in ghosts. Hope your other specs are good!

Higher refresh rates means higher fps that your monitor can produce. But only if your card can only go up to 60 fps, you will be seeing 60hz. Most people cant tell the difference between 90hz and 144hz.

If your current monitor is less than 70hz, go for the VG248qe, it's a excellent monitor for it's price.
