I do not know if I am in the correct thread but I recently purchased a 2GB Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X Graphics Card for my new rig build yet it will not power on. I have tried multiple times to reseat it and yes I have my poew connectors properly connected to the card. I have an odd feeling that it is my power supply (500W Corsair CX500 Power Supply) seeing that when I throw my older card in the new rig, the card works fine. I can not seem to trobleshoot this issue so hopefully someone can help me out!

on some rigs you have to update the motherboard bios. some times it a bios bug. also on some video card the onboard video will become the first boot device unless you change it in the bios from auto to peg/pci.

most new motherboard you download the bios file unzip it and put it on a usb stick. inside the bios under advance mode is a bios updater. just point the updater to the bios file.
