Hello, I just installed a Cooler Master Seidon 120M liquid cpu cooler. I was told that I was supposed to get temps on idle from like 30 degrees, and maybe like 50 when I am gaming. right now, I am idling around 85 degrees. I haven't ran any games, I have been just on a browser. So I haven't done anything to make the CPU heat up. Is my product defective? i thought liquid cooled wasn't supposed to be on 85 degrees on idle.
I have an Asus M5A97 Motherboard, and an amd FX 8 core processor.

Solution
It could not be installed properly, make sure all the fittings are secure and that the thermal paste is on it. Also, you have to plug in the pump and the fans on the pump.

I have all my fans running properly. The light is on. But it is still running warm on idle. The cables running from the radiator to the CPU seem a little warm too.
