Hey all,
I would appreciate if I could get any recommendations.

I'll be using it for Video Editing and Gaming.
I've spent a lot of hours deciding which parts work best but I'm still a newbie.

This is about $1000 worth,
I plan on buying through Amazon US to Australia, (because other AU sites are doubled in price.)
At the moment I 'think' I have 'Free Shipping' on all items except the Motherboard which is $26 postage.

Setup

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 PRO4 LGA1155 Intel $163 (incl postage)
CPU Cooler: Zalman CPU Fan with 92mm Fan LED (CNPS9500A LED-CU) $40
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast Series CP-9020039-NA650W $100
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC 2GB GDDR5 (GV-N660OC-2GD)$190
Tower:CM Storm Enforcer - Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case $80
RAM:Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) $150
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155 - $290

$1,013

Pretty much, is it compatible and worth it?
Thanks

Amazon doesn't ship most PC parts to Australia, I personally use http://www.pccasegear.com/ maybe grab an ASROCK Extreme 4 instead and switch the whole system over to 1150 as 1155 is starting to get phased out. Grab an i7 4770 for equivalent CPU. Do not use that CPU cooler get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo much better CPU cooler. As for GPU get a 760 it is definetly worth the higher price, if budget is pushed by that lower the CPU to an i5 4670 and the mobo if that is also necessary. You don't actually need an i7 for video editing and definitely not for gaming

Thanks for the reply.
I have all the parts in the Shopping Cart, it seems fine so far, maybe I'll get a "Cannot Ship" once I commit to buy?

I don't plan to OC, the internet reckons the Extreme 4 is pretty much only used for OC'ing, so I went with the cheaper Pro4 version which does the same job.

I'm going to work out the costings for this site you recommended, it seems great so far :)
Will post back.

Thank you so much.

Yeah you get A cannot buy from you location when you try to buy it, I have tried it :(
thats true is is mainly used for OCing however it is of the newer 1150 socket which you will want to go with as 1155 is being phased out. 1150 allows for any future upgrades

I used your site you recommended and got some new prices, it's actually a great site I'm glad I came here. Thanks.

What do you think about this now?

New Setup

Motherboard:ASRock Z87 Extreme4 Motherboard$190
CPU Cooler:CoolerMaster Hyper 412 Slim CPU Cooler$50
Processor:Intel Core i7 4770$345
Graphics Card:Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 Splinter Cell OC 2GB$310

Didn't change.
~Power Supply:Corsair CX-500 Modular 80+ Bronze Power Supply$90
~Tower:CoolerMaster Storm Enforcer$100
~RAM:Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M2A1600C10 (2x8GB) DDR3$200

$1,285

It's a bit over my budget, I still might go for it.
I may change to the i5 or downgrade back to the 660.

Thank you mcdonh! :pt1cable:
