I currently have 2 SSD that is both 120GB. One is acting as my boot drive for window 7 and the other is currently unused. My current computer setup is having 1 ssd boot drive and 1 large hard drive where a lot of things are stored. I want to transfer everything from my current boot drive to the new SSD without having to reinstall any software that i have installed onto my SSD and HDD. I was wondering if this would be possible. There are guides on how to do this but im not sure if my secondary drive will make this process more complicated.

The current bootdrive is an OCZ and the ssd i want to have the system moved to is an samsung ssd.

disk cloning does exactly what it says. Clones. So it basicly recreates the entire partition on the other drive to make the two drives identical. When I was working as a technician doing LAB installations for schools etc we use to install everything a PC would need and then just clone that drive with all the other drives. Saved time and worked like a charm and didn't have to reinstall windows etc
