Hi People,

I have 2 side fans on the panel covers which went kaput .. were cheap quality fans that came with the cabinet... I want to buy and install two fans of okay quality. Just wondering a few things. Below is the layout of my system. Its silly but i'm not at home at this moment so cant post a pic

PSU at the top, below it is the CPU which aligns with the top side fan
Below it is the back exhaust fan, just below
3 - 4 inches below is the GPU, aligns with the bottom side fan, the hard disk is at that level also, maybe just a bit below and is aligned with the the front intake fan.

Now my question is these two fans should i make them intake or exhaust so as to get the optimal cooling. both intake? both exhaust? one intake another exhaust?

These are the fans i'm planning to buy are they any good?

I just dont want to buy anything fancy... i do not overclock and my GPU and processor are not that powerful, HD 7770 and core i5 2400.

i would make it intake, BUT this would suck in dust.

here's my suggestion, try it both, try one orientation, then observe temps. try the other way, and observe. see how it goes. besides, it's easy to remove/install side fans

ANy particular reason why they SHOULD be intake? I need to measure it against the dust factor. And what about those fans are they good enough?
