I have a zotac 8400gs which has been performing decently well for me from last 5 years even after overclocking. My mobo has 1.1x 16 pci-e slot.I want to buy a new gpu for playing new games at low-mid settings. Which gpu should I go for
a gt 630 or 430 with pci-e 2.0 or Hd 6570 or 5570 with pci-e 2.1 ... THANXXX.......

Get an HD7730 GDDR5, anything less and it would not be worth the money.

This site has an excellent chart about where each card stands.

It surely depends on your budget though, but I wouldn't go with anything less than a 7790 if you want a graphics card that will allow you to play games for 5 years more
