Hi, I am creating my gaming PC and i need your help.
My first question is : What processor will suit me best ?

For now i am focused on AMD athlon II X4 750k as my processor but i saw the FX-8350. which is better?
I could go for a FX-6350 but the problem is i already bought the motherboard for my
athlon so i am currently looking for a buyer or someone i could swap or trade with.

second of all. DO I NEED A CUSTOM CPU COOLER ? i heard this processors run
really hot so I planned on buying a cooler for this CPU. if i need a CPU cooler
then my eyes are fixed on Cooler Master Seidon 120m

THX thats all i need to ask, and any advice on creating my first gaming PC ?

Solution
The AMD Athlon II X4 750k is on FM2 socket and the FX 6350 and 8350 are on the AM3/AM3+ socket. To run an FX, you need another motherboard than the FM2. While the AMD Athlon II X4 750k is a very capable CPU, it can bottleneck in a very CPU intensive games.

It all depends on your budget though. As a sweet spot, maybe the FX 6350 is you better price/performance option. The 6350 is 140$ while the FX 8350 is 200$. Both FX CPUs will be good for you, but the FX-8350 is a bit better (well you get what you paid for).

The Seidon 120 is an overkill if you don't plan on a big overclock. A Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo will be sufficient if you don't plan on going on 4.5 GHz and up.

Anyway, we need to know your budget and other components to...

MOBO : Gigabyte F2A85X-D3H (which will change if i go with the FX series)
