Hello,

I'm considering upgrading my GPU, I currently have a gtx 670 and I'm looking to upgrade to a 780. However, I'm concerned as to whether or not my Motherboard, CPU, and Power Supply would be efficient enough to support this upgrade.

My Current Specs:
Motherboard - Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H
CPU - Intel i5-3570 @ 3.40GHz
Power Supply - Corsair TX750

Also, would I need to get some sort of cooling? I'm currently just using stock case fans. If you feel that there is a more appropriate GPU upgrade or whatever, please don't hesitate to mention, I want your opinion! Any help you can provide is much appreciated!

Thank you!

sure everything seems excellent. but why do you need a gtx 780? is not a gtx 670 strong enough? still gtx 780 works well with your current rig unless your psu is age old if not it is an excellent psu

The reason I have chosen to upgrade is that I'm unable to run certain games at the settings I would like. For example, Crysis 3, Metro: Last Light, Bioshock Infinite (in certain areas), Skyrim Modded fairly heavily, BF4, and a few others. Are you sure my CPU won't bottleneck? All of my hardware except my case is a couple of months under 2 years old.

No problems with the planned upgrade, I doubt the CPU will cause any restrictions-particularly since you will be loading the graphics card with so much eye candy-and the PSU is probably capable of running dual GTX770s.
Stock case fans are not always the best available, changing them can quieten the system quite noticeably, as well as improving airflow, and remember: Front and side IN, top and rear OUT.
