Hello! i have a problem that really bugs me out! Yesterday, i finally got my brand new case. So i installed all my components to the case and then i booted the PC up. Started like a normal. Now, today i found a weird problem! I can't access the bios, nor get video out of the GPU with a single monitor! I tried took the CMOS battery out for few minutes, putted back: No video from the machine at ALL with a single monitor. I installed second monitor with HDMI, got picture! Then i tried to goto the bios, no luck :/. My monitors drop brightness to minimum they go. Rebooted PC Windows work no problem. No CMOS jumper in this mobo, so i am running out of ideas. Bios is updated to latest revision. I didn't have this problem before. any help will be appreciated!

Specs:
CPU: I5 2500k 3.3GHz
GPU: Club 3D Radeon HD 6670 1GB
Mobo: AsRock H61M/U3S3
RAM: 8GB

Thanks!

I suspect you have plugged the video lead from the motherboard to the back of the 6670 card.

What is happening is when you press the key to enter the bios.
The video output to show the screen is going through the Motherboard on board graphics ports.

So change the monitor lead to them from the 6670 card.
You should see the bios screen then.

Make the changes to the bios, making sure you set the Pci-e slot as the default primary graphics output device.
And if you can disable the on board graphics solution, if not needed.
Save the settings before exiting the bios.
Reconnect to the 6670 card and you should have a display output from it.

I did exactly you told, i still can't see the bios screen. I don't even have warranty left nor money to buy a new mobo right now... I re-seated everything, ran w/o HDDs, second stick of ram (both works no problem at all) etc.. still a black screen.. But it gotta be on the bios, since my monitors doesn't go into sleep mode. They stay on.
