What kind of work will you be doing? Basic office stuff, or more intense computing and rendering?

I'm not a fan of the 1333 RAM. Upping it to 1600 would help some. The 660 will be fine for 1080p gaming, but it's getting a little old now. Also, it looks like it's using the stock AMD cooler, which is a little loud. Any overclocking will definitely require aftermarket cooling. And I may be wrong, but the 760 chipset is pretty old for the mboard. The HDD is a litle small for my tastes too.

You do get a warranty, but does that get voided if you even pop the case open?

most modern games at high settings with 40-60 fps and a few games at ultra settings with the same a very few at mid settings (very demanding games) with the same fps. great system. if you overclock the cpu and gpu it will play all at high or better. hope this helps.

hey guys thanks. My PSU btw is 550 watt (plenty I think). I know 1333 RAM isn't the best, but since it's 8GB's of it, it should be fine. Also, I believe I can upgrade the GPU anytime, so when I notice that the GTX 660 OC that it comes with get's old, I will upgrade to a 760 or 770. Not sure which PSU, btw.

Well, what kind of PSU? Know the brand? Not all brands are made equal. Some 550s are quite good, some are horrible.

Assuming you have a 1080p monitor, expect at least good performance at high settings in major game titles.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this will max out BF4, or get really close.

Max out BF4 on a 660? I don't think so. A 7950 can't even do that. The 660 should be smooth provided you don't crank the details, but don't expect it to turn everything up to 11.

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/GPU13/583 the 660 and 7950 are almost identical in performance but i agree unless its overclocked you will not max with it in that demanding a game.

As is, I might have some reservations about it. It's not the system I would build, but it's still respectable.
