just wanna ask if what's the problem in my brother's pc.. in desktop.. after a minute.. the keyboard hangs.. but the system is working when i'm clicking anywhere..

then i checked bios..the cpu temps..
after a minute..
the temp. and fan speed suddenly drops to ZERO.. then the keyboard hangs..
i observed it couple of times, i cleaned the whole PC, hard reset also the MoBo, but nothing happens.. the problem still persist..

is it the MoBo or CPU problem??

TIA!! GodBless..

He didn't say the fan wasn't spinning, said the bios said it was at 0rpms, Did you look to see if the fan actually stopped? if so I would lean towards the motherboard having issues. If not well it still could be the motherboard. I would try updating the bios before I replaced anything as well.

Code:

the fan is spinning continuously even the keyboard hangs.. when the temp and fan speed dropped to 0.. the keyboard now hangs.
