Okay, here's my situation. I have a build with an HD 7850 1gb graphics card and a Core i3 2120 processor. They used to be in another build, but since, I've moved them to a new mobo and a new hard drive; since the old mobo and hard drive died.

I used to get a constant 60fps on Bioshock Infinite on very high, but now, I'm getting drops to 40fps on normal settings.

Same with DMC: Devil May Cry, I used to not get any stuttering but now I get stuttering.

Now in some games, like Tomb Raider, Civilization V, Mafia II and Sonic Generations; I have no problems.

So what could be causing these sudden FPS drops? This is on a clean install of Windows 7.

Like I said, on my old hard drive, I did not get these drops.

The mobo drivers are the one's on the CD that comes with it right?

That might be my issue. That I don't have the mobo drivers installed.

Or could it just be an issue with the latest AMD driver?

Yes; you can just get them of your motherboard producers website too. Get that fixed and if it doesn't work try uninstalling the current AMD drivers and use the disc for now.
