Earlier I was attempting to change my screen resolution, sadly of course when I did so I changed it to a resolution not compatible with my monitor. A display came up stating input not supported, with no option to revert it.

So I powered the pc off, disconnected my vga from the video card and plugged into the normal vga plug to access the bios. I went into the bios and changed from pci to onboard, but when I booted I had no display so I went back into the bios and tried pci-e. Now I can't even get bios to display when I boot.

I've been trying both plugs over and over, I've also taken the lithium battery out of the mobo and let it sit for 2 min or so attempting to reset the cmos.

Im going to google the jumpers for my mobo and also try leaving the battery out overnight.

If anyone knows a simpler way please do share.

Yes I do.

I do not know what OS you are using.
But when you set the resolution to high for your monitor to support.
It will display input not supported.

Change the settings back in the bios to Pci-e, then save the settings before exiting.
Make sure the video cable is plugged into the back of the pci-e card.

Just before windows begins to boot keep tapping the F8 key.
Choose safe mode.

When you get to there go to your resolution options and set it back to the level or resolution you know the monitor works at, or a lower resolution out of the options given.

click ok or apply.
Restart windows and let it load normally and all should be ok again.
