Suppose i connect laptop with tv(samsung led 1080p) via hdmi and run a game on the laptop on 1080p resolution, will there be any kind of lag or decrease in frame rates when seeing the game running on tv???
i'm thinking of buying sony 15319 (gt 740m 2GB) and want to play games like battlefield 3 or 4, crisis 3 on large tv on 1080p resolution.

It will be very hard for that laptop to play those games @ 1080p, the graphics card is just not strong enough. The TV itself shouldn't pose any problems, if it has a game mode it's best to set it to that so you don't have delayed input response but it's the high resolution which will give you low frames per second.
