bought a GENERIC ( that's the brand name) MP3 player on Amazon. It came from Singapore ( yes, truly - took ages) with no manua

MP3 player. origin Singapore. No manual or instructions of any sort. Brand name is GENERIC. How do I get music onto it? Would never have bought it if I had known it wasn't European!

Plug the usb cable into it, plug that into your computer, and open your computer. It should be listed as a drive. Drag the files onto it. I think.

yes - usb. Will try the drag-and drop technique - uised to work for my old machine. Will keep you all posted. Got an apology from Singapore today. They claim that they were completely unaware that the gadgets were going out without a manual and claim that they are trying to get one together for saturday ( yes, really!). I also need a Warranty and guarantee, so they will have to get cracking. Watch out for this brand though - nowhere do they say it's an import!
