what resolution are you playing at? what are you expecting out of the card?

I have that exact EVGA card but my intention was to use EVGA's "step-up" program to get into a GTX 780 card for the difference in price 90 days later. I was hoping for a big price drop, but I just missed it by 3 weeks. So I still have the 770. Which is a great card and 2gb is fine for 1080.

you could get the EVGA card now and within 90 days step up to a GTX 780.

Both brands are excellent choices and to be honest I have always gone with Evga because of their warranty and support. I have had to RMA several cards over the years for various reasons and it always has been a painless experience. Tech support has always responded to my questions either by phone or email.

I think that the Windforce and ACX cooling solutions are pretty close to the same performance.

So based on my experiences my recommendation is Evga.

It's like asking which one you have to buy between BMW and Audi for the same class. Obviously people will give you recommendation based on their personal experience or something they heard from the reviews. But most of those recommendation will come from people who never really used both in practice. Just google for those two models, find review for each and/or direct comparison, if lucky, by reliable review media, and also user reviews for each. Then make a decision for yourself. Both cards are almost the same level at least on paper, and most users won't buy/use both of them at the same time.

Agreed...I have had to deal with EVGA all the way back through GTX 8800, GTX 470 and now 770...and their warranty and support is top notch. The only reason I would go with the 4GB card is if you're running more than one monitor or plan on sli in the future. EVGA has the same card in 4GB though too. EVGA would be my choice as well
