Are these benchmarks abnormally slow for my SSD?

This is the SSD I'm running: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147189

These are the scores I'm getting when bechmarking:

When I check here: http://ssd-comparison.whoratesit.com/Compare/Samsung-840-250GB-vs-Group-/1510vs10

It shows much higher scores than what I'm getting.

Any reason this might be happening? I'm running AHCI so it's not that.

It's plugged into the SATA III, just double checked.



It is a ASRock h77 Pro4/MVP

Your motherboard has 4 SATA 3 (6Gb/s) ports.

Double-check that your SSD is connected to one of the Intel 6Gb/s ports (SATA3_0 or SATA3_1), not to one of the ASMedia 6Gb/s ports (SATA3_A1 or SATA3_A2).
See page 13 of your motherboard manual for the location of the ports.

It's connected to SATA3_0. Very bottom right corner of the mobo, grey color.
