the green light for is working but the computer will not turn on

I just want to know if there is something I can do to get my computer to turn on. The battery light is green so it's fully charged but when I try to turn it on it won't come on

green battery light only indicates the battery itself if fully charged, maybe the battery cannot send voltages to the actual laptop, which is preventing from turning on.
did you try taking out the battery and turning the laptop on just with a charger connected?

im sorry I didn't get back sooner it is a laptop here is what I have done so far. I unplugged the computer, took the battery out, pushed the power button for 30 seconds, plugged it back in, turned it on. After it powered up I turned it off and put the battery back in, it worked for a minute now the power light comes then shuts off. Please help!!

I just tried it the power button came on and went back off and now it will not come on at all.

Try turning it on without the battery in and with the power cord in.
If it doesn't turn on then you probly have a problem with the power cable as it is not recharging the battery so your laptop is out of power. Is the power cable loose in the power socket or comes out easily? Any sign of damage anywhere?
