I had to reseat my ram in order to start up today, and while I was reseating it, one of the sticks did not want to go. I think I pushed a little to hard and there was a strange sound like glass breaking, almost musical.

Long story short, I need a replacement for my gigabyte 870a ud3 motherboard (am3) before tomorrow night when eso beta goes live.

What motherboard(s) will work so I don't have to reinstall windows?

In general what things should I look for to make sure that it is compatible, and if possible, which from this website: http://www.microcenter.com/category/4294966996/Motherboards

can I use?

Thanks!

If you get anything other than the exact MB (right down to Rev #) you are looking at a reinstall of the OS. If it is the same MB but a newer rev you are probably going to be troubleshooting for niggling incompatabilities if the same install is used. A different MB will definitely require a reinstall and reactivation of the OS.

IF you have an OEM copy of windows it may try to make you try to buy windows anyway. If you have a retail copy that part wont matter.

You'll have to get new drivers no matter what board unless it was the exact same model and revision#... Hopefully if you just install the drivers that come with the board it will work but thats iffy sometimes.
