Hello all,

I've been saving my pennies and am ready to upgrade from a 5800 rpm 2tb hdd to a 1tb ssd. However, I lost my ASUS motherboard driver disk.
I went to the website and am a bit concerned as I can't recall what I need to install.

http://www.asus.com/ROG_ROG/MAXIMUS_IV_EXTREMEZ/#support

Under Drivers and Tools, selecting Windows 7 as a OS, what items do I need to download? I'm concerned by the number of them as I'm uncertain if there is an install order or not.

Please help and give my dumb ass advice :)

Solution
Before you do a clean install, make sure that inside the bios, that you've set the hard drive controller to use AHCI instead of IDE mode.

Also, the first drivers to load once Windows is installed are the chipset drivers and the ME drivers (they are both in the same section, but install the chipset one first.)
