Router not recognizing computer

My HDD failed yesterday, I got a new one and transferred all the files, everything is fine, minus some lost files and my route refuses to work with just my computer.

I tried my parent's laptop and it works fine, both wired and wireless, I updated the firmware on my router and nothing. I reset my router to factory settings and nothing. I can't figure out what's going on.

My router is a Netgear N150 Wireless Router
Model WNR1000v2

I called Dell support and they said it's most likely a software issue, but of course since I'm not under warranty, it'd cost $129 just to fix for one time, or I could get a 1 year warranty for $239. Bunch of crooks.

Was this the main C: hard drive with the OS on it? Did you reinstall the OS? If so, and even if not, check the device manager and make sure you don't have any yellow ? marks and also check to make sure the network adapter is showing.

Yea, it was my main drive, the drive I'm using now WAS my backup for stuff, now it's my main drive since the other one is trash. I checked device manager and I have no "Network adapter" listing, I have 2 things under a "Other devices" option named "Ethernet Controller" and "PCI Simple Communications Controller". I suspect one of these two, or both, is causing this issue/
