=====UPDATED======
Hello. I've recently bought new parts and noticed that my system keeps crashing on Battlefield 4 and Unigine Heaven testing.

With XMP ON:
Black screen(s), nothing responds, audio continues to work, hard restart doesn't work. Only a shut down and power up works (via the power button). - While both in Unigine Heaven and BF4.

With XMP OFF:
Same as above, except that Unigine heaven works fine.

After that, a window comes up saying "Overclocking Failed!", prompting me to head into the BIOS.

I've turned off the RAM's XMP profile and it seemed to work fine (in Unigine)

Stress testing the RAM, CPU and GPU (AIDA64, Prime95, MSI Kombustor) showed nothing, it was all fine (even with XMP on), but with Unigine and BF4 it keeps on crashing unless I turn XMP off.

On my motherboard I have an 8-pin (I think it was) connector into my CPU and another standard 4-pin (I think, I keep forgetting) for the CPU. I have only connected the 8-pin one, may this be the cause?

System specs:
Core i7 4930K (System tested @ 3.4, 3.9 and 4.5, all stable).
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Corsair Vengeance 16GB 2400MHz (XMP) (1333 stock)
Sapphire R9 290X
Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB SSD
SeaSonic X-Series 1250W PSU 80+ Gold (Modular)
Windows Pro 8.1
AMD Beta 11 drivers

I've received great help in the forum before, I really hope you guys can help me solve my problem.
I really hope I don't have to get rid of the X.M.P completely, as it is the reason I got these DIMM's.

================UPDATE

I've turned off the X.M.P and the same problem occurs on BF4 (stress testing is stable). CPU was @ 4.5 GHz, voltage of 1.408v (according to CPUZ) and a Prime95 stress temperature of 65c

I've yet to try running the system at complete stock speeds (which I'll do later on today and update the thread).
