I am looking at running an Intel I7 4770k CPU with an ASUS Maximus VI Hero MOBO for mostly gaming purposes. I am still putting together the parts for my build and so far only have the processor and an Intel 530 SSD 240GB. I was wondering what types of RAM (model, manufacturer, amount, any details appreciated) you guys would go for with these known parts so far?

16GB of DDR3 will slightly increase the performance of your SSD according to a recent Tom's SSD review. The manufacturer/model and timing config are not terribly important if you are not over-clocking.
