Hey guys,
So Dell is replacing my GPU with the HD 8990 OEM (which apparently is a rebranded 7990 Malta) but what I am seeing on the GPU boss comparison site are totally different specs than the 7990. Was the 8990 originally suppose to be a totally different card?
Here are the specs they are saying the 8990 is suppose to have:
GPU brand: AMD
GPU name: Aruba
Market: Desktop
Clock speed: 1,050 MHz
Is dual GPU: Yes
Reference card: None
Shading units: 5,120
Texture mapping units: 320
Render output processors: 96
Compute units: 80
