Best GPU for 1600x900 Display

So I have a monitor with a native resolution of 1600x900. What is the cheapest graphics card that can max current games at 60 FPS. I was looking at HD 7850 or 7870, but I feel like the cards would be a little overkill considering the resolution is not 1080p. Are there any other cards that would run max settings on that resolution. What about HD 7770 or Nvidia gtx 650?

The GTX 650 would be perfectly fine for what you are doing, even consider stepping up to the 650 TI if you could, as that would give you that little bit more of performance gain for not very much more money.
