I am going to attempt to build my first computer and i have no prior knowledge about anything related to computers and its components. It will be used for gaming. After some research these the are components I have decided on:
CPU Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid
Motherboard Gigabyte Z87M-D3HP
Memory 8G Kit 1600 G.Skill Sniper
Storage Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card 2G Asus GTX 760 Gigabyte OC
Case Corsair 400R ATX
Power Supply Corsair CX600
Optical Drive LG Blu-Ray
Operating System Windows 8.1 Pro
I think i will try overclocking, i never have before but i have read some guides. however if you can see anything wrong with the components please let me know.
I would like to know if anyone has a build that is similar because the thing I am also concerned about is if they will be compatible to fit together.
I used pcpartpicker which said all components are compatible but it doesn't show whether i can fit it all into the case or not.
