Specs:
Mobo: ASRock H61M-DGS
GPU: Powercolor 7750 1GB (going to buy this: http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=78372&vpn=AX7870%202GBD5-2DHPPV3E&manufacture=PowerColor&promoid=1284)
CPU: i3 2120 stock @ 3.3 GHz
PSU: 500W CX Corsair
8 GB RAM

So I have posted here before asking if my PSU is enough, and i decided that it would suffice, even though i was told it wouldn't. I know its just $60 to get a better one, but i could be spending that money on a GPU and if the 500W is just enough, thats fine. I just want to know if the mobo and all my other parts will function properly once i upgrade to a new GPU. I know that the GPU will be kinda overpowering every other component, but that's okay because I don't need 7 extra FPS from an i5. Just to clarify, I have every component listed above right now, I'm just looking to upgrade my GPU from the shitty 7750 to a 7870. I really don't wanna pass up the deal at NCIX. If anyone knows if NCIX or other stores have these deals often or if the GPU will lower in price it would be helpful. If there are any better cards for my setup in the $200 range, I'm all ears as well. Thanks

I agree with you. It looks like you'll be fine with the 500W CX Corsair.

I don't know becuase SR-71 told me to upgrade to a better one in a different post. I might have not mentioned it was CX. Anyway, thanks for the GIGABYTE GPU recommendation, I'll be sure to check out the benchmarks =)

One more quick question. So the R9 270X is better than the 7870 Myst? I know there is a price difference but if they were the same price, which one would you recommend- 7870 or 270X?

Thanks. I'm looking forward to buying it in the coming month or so. If the 7870 Myst promotion at NCIX ends, I'll have a card to fall back on =). Thanks again guys!
