Hello all,
I'm looking to buy a new Gaming PC very soon and I don't really mind building it myself. I always have such a hard time finding all of the right party to suit my needs though, so I usually end up with a kit. I want something that is going to last at the very least for 3 years.

I found this one, which seems pretty awesome:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1419273

My question is, do any of you know what parts of this combo might be good to substitute? I'm not really sure if buying the items one by one will have much effect on the price.

Thing that I definitely want:
Intel CPU (not sure if haswell is the best investment right now or not, definitely want K)
200+gb SSD, or possibly one small for OS and another strictly for games
At least 16gb of ram (Unless it's really not necessary for performance)

Things that could be cool:
Watercooling (If overclocking CPU or GPU)
LED Lighting
Quiet fans

I know this is kind of open ended, but I'm really struggling here to find anything that seems really worthwhile. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you =)

Surprisingly that isn't a horrible PSU in that combo, it is actually well reviewed by jonnyguru.

All PSUs on newegg have a much higher than true representation of DOA units because everyone who gets a DOA unit complains and few people who get a functional unit review it so that is always a bit skewed.

Overall its not a bad combo, but I think you might be able to focus it a bit more towards what you actually want/need at that price point. You only need 8GB of memory unless you are doing specific tasks so i would go with a 2x4GB so you can move up to 16 if you need to, you can also pick up a 4770k for the same price as the 3770k, drop down to a more reasonably...
hmm You should be able to build a better system for the same price. The psu I wouldnt trust since I read most of the reviews where it died in lest than a year or in a few months.

The cpu isnt that bad at all but its ivy bridge not haswell.

Most of the components arent bad but you can make changes to get your self water cooling as well as a better gpu

On newegg the 2/3 piece combos are usually pretty good, the bigger ones usually have a trap somewhere in them, this time around it isn't the PSU though

**EDIT: The video card says that it rquires: "600 watt or greater power supply with a minimum of 42 amps on the +12 volt rail."

I was looking at the power supply that I have listed and I can't find anything about the amperage of the +12 volt rail. Can anyone confirm that this power supply is powerful enough?

**EDIT 2: Never mind, I found it in the spec: "+12V@53A"
