Mobo: MSI FM2-A75MA-P33 FM2
Ram: Kingston 8GB Model KVR16N11/8
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 750K
GPU: MSI Radeon HD 7870

Now, i have this partially built. the last thing i am going to buy will be the gpu. im wondering, since the mobo has a dvi and vga out, and the cpu doesnt have gpu in it, will i need a gpu to boot up the comp, or can i put it together, without the gpu, and turn it on, since i might be another month before i can afford one?

More about : boot gpu config

you wont have any picture on the screen system will boot but useless .you need the gpu to have video or a cpu with a video chipset to use the onboard connector .

Yep scout is right the chip you have don't come with a gpu so you will get no screen you need a gpu card.. Aslo you can use any richland and trinity apu chip in your system since you own a FM2 board.
