I have a cheap Zotac moBo GF6100 F-E. It is rated for 65 TDP CPUs max. I have a Phenom II B59 (OEM 3.4GHz dual core) that is rated at 80 TDP. The MoBo recognizes it and I was able to install Win 7 on them. What problems might this cause?

Thanks,
Brad

Well, if you don't stress the situation by running something such as Prime95, you may get a long time of service out of it, it's just not recommended. :) Might not hurt to attach a heat sink if you have one laying around to the VRM section, if there isn't one already.
Well, if you overdo it, as in pull too much power through your motherboard, your system could randomly power off, or worse, cause the VRM circuitry of the motherboard to become defective. If you blow the VRM circuitry, your CPU could also be damaged. In the long run though, it's your equipment to run the way you wish.

Thanks, that's kind of what I thought. I was going to under-clock it in the BIOS, to somewhere around 2.5-2.8 GHz, but the BIOS doesn't have that ability. I think Windows 7 has the ability to limit the CPU to a max % usage. If I can remember where that setting is, I'll set it to 85-90% and probably be fine.
