Hi there, im planning on building an entry level computer for a friend. I'm planning on using an H61 motheroard, Pentium 4 G2030 CPU, 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive, 2 GB RAM and a standard dvd writer. My problem is finding the right PSU for the build. Will a 450 W be sufficient? or should i look at a 500-550 W PSU?? keep in mind that it's a udget build for an elderly woman, looking to use it for browsing and microsoft word etc. thank you :)

Solution
Antex Earthwatts 380D is the 'golden standard' of good low end PSU's.
The other good choice is the XFX Core Pro 450W. Both will be plenty to power that rig.
