Helping a buddy move is small business from his home to a new location. In his home, he had the linksys router setup with a static ip, static dns addresses and router gives dhcp i believe. The last modem he was using was a Comcast business modem. I believe they provide the ip address for the modem.. starts with 173.xxx.
Is there anyway to keep the same static ip and router setup(he's may use a different internet provider), or will he have to keep the same service if he wants to still use the same static ip?
