Before I ask for help let me just thank this community as it has helped me many times to date even if I haven't asked, others have asked my questions.
My system wont POST when I have HDD connected other than my OS SSD. I tried every possible SATA slot for it, grey one, blue ones, nothing helped
My guess is that the problem is with motherboard since same HDD worked in my previous system and was system one back then.
I simply cant do anything, not even enter BIOS, system hangs at ASUS logo and that's it.
A get-around is to use cable from USB enclosure and connect HDD via USB and that way it works, system POSTs and BOOTs no problem but I don't have to mention that I don't want this to be my permanent resolution to problem
I installed MB chipset drivers and updated it with latest BIOS ver 2204
Also if it may be of importance my system disk is SSD Samsung 840 EVO 120GB and troubled disk in question is Seagate barracuda 11 2TB @7200 , I tested it with several disk benchmark programs and it showed no errors whatsoever. Also cpu is Core i5 3470, 16GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz and gygabyte R9 280X 3G card are present besides.
