PC has started to power off whenever I run a game. Initially it would run the game for less and less time now as aoon as it starts the system powers off. Trying to figure out if it's the psu or the gpu.

I can prime95 for a while (never tried to time it out) but furmark instantly powers off. EVGA GTX 560ti with a silencer mk II 750 both 2 years old.

Also of note boot seems to get slower and slower (30 secs before icons appear on desktop, after boot to desktop) and clicking or right clicking an item can take anywhere from 1-10 secs before a response.

More about : gpu psu failing

temps arent serious dont seem the issue go into bios see if any of the rails are marked in red my fathers psu had a dodgy rail that kept tripping the motherboard

2 things i could think it would be is motherboard or psu

also clean of the old thermal paste of the cpu and heatsink to mx4 paste you should see it stay solid under the 50s shouldnt even get close to 55
