Hi everyone, i just got a new build
i followed all the basic troubleshooting tips like resetting trying with an hdmi straight to monitor, without the GPU plugged in.
but it still refuses to show a display
only other thing is when i start it up i get 4 beeps then right after another quick 4 beeps for a total of 8 beeps.
any help would be appreciated.
also the qcode is 00
also MOBA is a Asus maximus VI
GPU EVGA 780
PSU corsiar atx 720 watt
asus 7.1 channel audio card
corsiar ht110 water cooler
4x8 gig cosiar dominator ram
2 tb western digital HDD
256 SATA drive
and 1 LG blue ray optical drive

You should only get 1 beep quick POST beep. Which signifies everything is fine. 4 beeps in succession like that tells you something is wrong and the motherboard is not able to POST. So you wont get any display. Check that your graphics card and RAM is properly inserted. Double check the power cables connected to the motherboard. There should be 1 24pin connector and 1 4/8 pin connector close to the CPU etc

Make sure you didn't bend any of the CPU socket pins etc. Also try to reset the bios
