I figured it out. We have to download the latest open hardware monitor and after installing the monitor, temperatures will be displayed in the Thermaltake fan control software.

Thermaltake's link to Fan Control Software is deadend. Found anywhere else to download?

Well, I have another issue.............I was able to download the fan control software from Thermaltake's site after few tries (404 errors) and it installed fine. I also d/load'ed Open Hardware Monitor .6 beta and installed it, but still no cpu temps in the fan control software. Any new clues on this? AIDA 64, Core Temp, and CPUID CPU-Z all show cpu temps, but neither Open Hardware Monitor nor Fan Control Software do.

If your using the 1.6 Fan Control Software, replace the Open Hardware Monitor 0.6.0 Beta with the older 0.5.1 Beta. Just download the 0.5.1 Beta and unzip, then copy all files and paste back in to C:\Program Files (x86)\Thermaltake\Fan Control Software\OpenHardwareMonitor
Restart your computer and you will see CPU temp. Don't know why the 0.6.0 Beta is failing with the 1.6 Fan Control Software but this work around worked for me.

Thanks, William, for the tip - no joy. Completely uninstalled Open hardware Monitor and followed your instructions. Restart and no change, no cpu temp. Maybe I will try to uninstall Fan Software, too, and Open Hardware Monitor and then start over?

Sorry this is my fault, please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Thermaltake\Fan Control Software\OpenHardwareMonitor now double click on OpenHardwareMonitor application and when it starts up click on the "Options" and tick the "Run on Windows Startup", now you can close Open Hardware and restart your computer, it should work after that.

Let me know what happens.

Thank you,

William

Not yet, William. Still no cpu temps in the Thermaltake Fan Control software. Is there an older version of the fan control software that might work better?

I came across this problem after rebooting my PC, but I realized that they are going in 2 Software installation Soft control of fans, # 1 Fan Control Software and # 2 Open Harware Monitor this second should open it and put auto start with windows to dial in the first Soft Temperatures. If you want to see pictures please contact me by thunder_systems@yahoo.com Sorry for my traduction to English I can also give you the newest software
