well, i have decided to make a Mid-Range Gaming PC and specs are
Core i5 4570
Asus Z87-Plus Motherboard
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870
8 Gb
1 Tb
500W PSU

i want to know if this graphic card is ok, my range is below 200 dollars, second should I go for third gen insted or stick to 4th gen processors, i intend to use this pc for long term, might change GPU in two - three years time......

Solution
The 7870 is a great option especially at the current prices. It's getting phased out, so get one while you can with the two free games and enjoy it, i had one for quite a while and it was a great card. As for the CPU, i'd go with the 3rd gen, the 4th gen doesn't have any real advantages for desktop CPU's (the improvements were mostly in power management which benefits laptops).

I'm not a computer wizkid however I don't think having a certain card will give you a noticeable benefit will certain components so I would recommend getting the GTX 780 or the 780ti but if that's out of the question due to budget then 760-770 or possibly consider the new R9 290
