My Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/theswoosh/saved/2LSF
OC/voltage: http://tinypic.com/r/2agkg3a/5

the system runs Great ! but, from time to time when it sleeps, it never wakes up. at night when im about to sleep, i use my keyboard's function to sleep. then if i try to wake my PC up by taping the keyboard or moving the mouse, it will not show display.

i tried a couple of troubleshooting:
1.) i took the power off from the GPU and tried to use IGPU to run some testings. this troubleshoot went well and it showed display but i need to run it from my GPU
2.) i removed my GPU from PCIE2 x16 and put it in the PCIE4 x8, this troubleshoot also worked but since im only running a single GPU, then it is better to utilize the x16 PCIE.

i am suspecting the problem to be on the PCIE2 x16.

Finally, i tried putting it on PCIE2 x16 again, and it worked but for some reason GPU driver went missing. i suddenly got a exclamation on my device manager on my Display Adapters -> "AMD radeon R9 200 series" when i cliked properties it says " This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

So you sleep the computer, then when you wake it up everything is running in your PC but the monitor is just blank and it is connected to the source? Or does it say no signal?

The issue could either be the Graphics Card or the Power Supply, I would think that it will be the Graphics Card

Have you just finished building your PC and this problem has just occurred or has it randomly started happening after some time of using your PC?

the computer is 3 weeks old. when i try to wake it up, it just doesnt show any display, blank screen. i know its running because all the fans, leds keyboard and mouse backlit started to lit.

this is the second time it happened. but this time, the MoBo didnt recognize the GPU and at start up , it showed very poor graphics

Could either be a Driver Issue or your Graphics Card could be malfunctioning since you mentioned the Motherboard didn't recognize it and there were poor graphics

I would first reinstall the drivers and see if it fixes the issue

All driver are all up to date. which i got directly from the MSI.com

i did a System restore which fixes everything but i cant guarantee that it will never happen again since it already happened twice.

Alright then, keep this thread open for a few days or do the solution and open a new one if the issue returns

Well I would say that the PCI Express Slot could be damaged or the motherboard could be failing but it could also be the Power Supply since that could be the culprit :ouch:
