I have the Corsair GS-700 (700w) power supply. I installed the the motherboard, CPU, fans, peripherals, etc and went to power up. Attempts to power (pwr led goes on, fans begin spinning, GPU lights) then immediately powers down. As soon as all fans stop moving it, on it's own, attempts to power again (rinse and repeat). Removed RAM to see if board would recognize missing but no sounds. Disconnected everything and no change whatsoever. A friend of mine seems to think it is an issue with the BIOS version...if this is the case - how does one go about updating the BIOS with no ability to power the board or systems?

I have no idea on the BIOS unless I can tell from looking at the board as it does not power up.

i7-4820k is the processor.

Found this on another response so will ensure it is done

You have to connect the TWO 12v ATX connectors from the PSU to the socket on the mobo, connecting the 24 pin main mobo power connector is not enough!

Page 23 of the motherboard manual (english) says "if the 12v power connector is not connected, the computer will not start"

Directly from Gigabyte - this board requires bios update to F16...the way to tell prior to purchase would be first 4 numbers of the SN

SN1337 or higher will have F16 bios update.
