Computer vs PS4

How much better is my PC compared to the ps4 - I5-4430, r9 290, 8 GB DDR3? And do you guys think it's even worth purchasing one?

You've got better than, but you have to remember that consoles are built around playing games only and all of their resources are used for just that, not running the heavy multi-tasking, resource-intensive OS that PCs have. That being said, AC4, for example, on your PC with the correct settings should look better than AC4 on the PS4.

That being said, whether or not you should buy one is up to you. Would you likely want to play a lot of the PS4- or console-exclusives? If so, then yes go buy one. If PC gaming is enough, and you won't be tempted by games like I was by Last of Us (I bought a PS3 just for that) then don't buy a PS4.

Two completely different systems, The computer would Shatter the PS4 in that situation however. There are still several games that are only available on PS4, and some that are only on PC, also have the mouse vs. controller thing. I would just go with whichever I prefered, specs don't make a game/system fun. the Wii has proven that 100x over.

Lol with proved no one likes a peices of shit, yeah it had a lot of sales as would any fad/gimmick but who still plays it? I gave mine to my sister and she still doesn't like it

That's true. There are some exclusives I wanna play, like killzone, however - I don't know if it'll be worth the money...
