Hello,as the title says and also i have a gtx 660.My current cpu is a fx 6300 and i have managed to oc it to 4.7 gz with 1.51 volt so i guess my psu can handle wattage pretty good and i have tested it while playing crysis 3 with my gtx 660 also oc'ed and overvolted by 1.215.

Solution
Be careful with that 6300, you're overvolting it. Do not exceed 1.5V.

Anyway, since you've OC'd it to that point I believe it would have similar wattage to the 8350 at that same speed. So I believe yes.

EDIT: See below v.

From EVGA:
GTX 660 (All) / 650Ti Boost:
Minimum of a 450 Watt power supply
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 24 amps)
An available 6 pin PCI-E power connector

Your PSU is (barely) adequate with the 6300 but won't cut it with the 8350, upgrade to a 600W unit

Actually, he's not overvoltage for the Phenom II spec yet, which was 1.55v. The FX series CPUs have not had an official max voltage and temp released for them. Still, I would stay below 1.5v anyway as suggested above for safety and longevity.

As for going to an FX 8350, I would not. They pull MUCH more current than the FX 6300. You need both a PSU and motherboard that can handle that.

I got an m5al7 le r2.0 isn't that ok? and since my psu can handle more than 1.5v in the cpu wont it be able to handle a 8350 just fine since it has a much lower than 1.5v stock voltage?
